What Is A Partners Desk?

It’s quite simple really, a partners desk is a single desk that was designed to accommodate two people at the same time, i.e. partners, one either side of the desk.

Although rarely used in that configuration today, partners desks retain their popularity for one main reason – they can be used either side and can stand in the middle of a room because both sides are “finished” – no need to place this kind of desk against a wall because the rear is made of only rough or bare timber.
