The frieze of this bureau plat writing table has a single drawer and is totally embellished with gilt-bronze anthemion plaques. The desk is raised on four square tapering legs with tracking foliate ormolu mounts which end in ormolu spade feet. It can stand freely in the middle of a room, having been fully finished all around. It comes with the original working lock and key.
